Jonghoon Ahn
Jonghoon Ahn — 안종훈

Writer-Director · Technical Artist · Media Artist

Jonghoon Ahn is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and media artist based in Los Angeles and Seoul. His work explores silence, emotional repression, and social systems that fail to protect individuals—told through minimal dialogue, long takes, and restrained visual language.

He works across film, XR, and digital performance using motion capture, digital humans, real-time engines, and generative image technologies to create work where audiences move beyond passive spectatorship.

Currently serving as Technical Director on Academy Award–nominated animator Erick Oh's game project, and on media artist Yaloo's digital human projects (featured in Hyperallergic). His feature screenplay was selected as a school-nominated submission for the 2025 Academy Nicholl Fellowships and shortlisted for the CJ & TIFF K-Story Fund.
